What to expect as your main responsibilities:

  • Sales invoices preparation (Canada and US)
  • Sales tax remittances (Canada and US)
  • Processing accounts payable and expense reports
  • Posting of company credit cards transactions and reconciliation
  • Posting of payroll journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Document filing

 You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Have a DEC in Accounting, with minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Have good knowledge of Sage 50 or similar accounting software
  • Have advanced Excel capabilities
  • Are able to multi-task
  • Are organized and detail-oriented; possess good planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Are eager to learn and improve existing processes
  • Are comfortable in a small company environment
  • Are bilingual in French and English
