Sachant qu&rsquo;une mod\u00e9lisation de surface pr\u00e9cise et facile \u00e0 utiliser constituait son besoin le plus important, M\u00fchlhoff a \u00e9valu\u00e9 deux syst\u00e8mes\u00a0: Catia et NX. M\u00fchlhoff a trouv\u00e9 le logiciel NX&#x2122; sup\u00e9rieur dans deux aspects, la pr\u00e9cision et la facilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;utilisation, et a donc achet\u00e9 cette solution pour son entreprise. La facilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;utilisation per\u00e7ue s&rsquo;est av\u00e9r\u00e9e r\u00e9elle. M\u00fchlhoff a ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure de concevoir un navire dans les semaines qui ont suivi l&rsquo;installation du nouveau logiciel, sans aucune formation formelle.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 pr\u00e9sent, lorsque M\u00fchlhoff entreprend un nouveau projet. L&rsquo;entreprise re\u00e7oit g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des donn\u00e9es AutoCAD de ses clients. Bien qu&rsquo;elle puisse importer ces donn\u00e9es dans NX, elle trouve qu&rsquo;il est plus facile et plus rapide de recr\u00e9er la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie dans NX. Apr\u00e8s avoir trac\u00e9 les courbes 2D dans NX, M\u00fchlhoff applique ensuite des surfaces pour cr\u00e9er la forme de la coque. Les surfaces qu&rsquo;elle cr\u00e9e de cette mani\u00e8re sont tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cises, car il n&rsquo;y a pas de conversion de fichier d&rsquo;un programme \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre. Ce processus est \u00e9galement beaucoup plus rapide, car M\u00fchlhoff fonctionne exclusivement dans un environnement unique.
